...Introducing Miss Jenna.... 

       Welcome to my class! My name is Jenna Dorn. I am very excited to work alongside your child this upcoming year. I knew I wanted to be a teacher from the moment I knew what a job was. I have been working at Lily Pond Country Day School for a total of eight years as a teacher's assistant; this has been a great expereince for me and I am thrilled to now have a class of my own.

      As an educator I am extremely passionate about the idea that all students can learn and be successful in their education. I believe that my teaching methods and philosophies are ones that will suit my future students because I believe in hands-on, authentic learning experiences where my students feel welcome, safe, and comfortable to participate in this crucial learning environment!

     I attended school at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg Pennyslvania. I just finished my graduate work and received a Master's of Education degreee in the area of Reading this past July. I also completed my undergraduate work at Bloomsburg University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Exceptional Individuals.
